Muñoz Refinishing is run by Juan Carlos Muñoz, working across Northridge & the San Fernando Valley. The specialty is cabinet finishing and refinishing — taking kitchen and bathroom cabinetry back to bare wood and building the colour and finish up again — alongside wood staining, lacquer, varnish and water-based finishes, and interior and exterior painting.
Refinishing is mostly preparation. Stripping the old finish, sanding through the grits, conditioning wood that would otherwise blotch, and keeping dust off a surface that is about to take colour all happen before anything that looks like progress. That is where the job is won, and it is why a finish that was rushed at the start shows it within a year no matter how good the last coat looked on the day.
You deal with the person doing the work. Juan Carlos looks at the piece, tells you what it needs, and then does it himself — so what you were told at the start is what happens, and there is nobody to pass a question along to. He speaks English and Spanish.

Owner-Operated
Juan Carlos Muñoz looks at the work, quotes it and does it. There is no handover, so nothing gets lost between the person who promised it and the person holding the sprayer.
Matched to Your Wood
Stain is tested against the woodwork you already have, on the same species, sanded the same way — because a colour chart tells you nothing about your own timber.
